National Campaign

Goal/ Objective:

To impact consumers with a strong, clear message about how to do business with Nationwide Insurance, while building brand awareness, obtaining qualified sales leads and delivering auto safety messages to both prospective and current customers primarily along the east coast and south-central U.S.

Strategies:

  • Developed and managed an event campaign centered around a
    multi-purpose, branded, and interactive booth display which contained a large automobile safety exhibit, simulated “walk-the-line” impairment activity, branded photo opportunity station providing free souvenir photos to attendees, and a sales-lead generating sweepstakes element.
  • Negotiated and secured sponsorships at large fairs, festivals and NASCAR events which provided a host of marketing and hospitality benefits, in addition to high-traffic locations for the Customer Choice display.

Results

  • 3.4 million people reached with brand.
  • 12,860 leads obtained.
  • 10 million people reached through media.
  • 34,450 had direct contact with agents and auto safety message.
